Russia-Ukraine conflict

In our 2021 annual report we say that “we have found ourselves in a different world.” Those words referred to gas prices that had risen to record highs and the impact of this on our country. But it is only with the war in Ukraine that we realise how true those words really are and to a far more devastating and far-reaching extent than ever before.

As a company and as employees we are appalled, worried and angry about the war started by Russia in Ukraine. We recognise the seriousness of the situation and our action in this crisis is therefore a top priority.

In recent days, we have supported decisions to end Russian involvement or Russian representation in a number of partnerships.

GasTerra also buys some of its gas in Russia but we cannot take any independent decisions on this matter due to its importance for the gas supply. If the government should impose sanctions that relate to our business, they will be implemented. We are in contact with the government about this.
