One of GasTerra’s objectives is to promote sustainable business operations. When we buy products and services, we look not only at price and quality but also at how much effort suppliers are making to become sustainable enterprises.
We prefer to work with local suppliers as this helps to boost the Groningen economy. This means that, when choosing between the products available, we focus on suppliers’ locations as much as sustainability. In 2022, total commitments entered into for non-gas-related purchases came to 28.1 million euros, of which more than 9.9 million euros was spent with local suppliers.
