About GasTerra
Following the decision to stop production from the Groningen field, GasTerra’s shareholders have also chosen to phase out the company. GasTerra’s final date was recently set as 31 December 2026. GasTerra is therefore gradually winding down its position as a natural gas and green gas wholesaler.
Our office premises were in the centre of Groningen until very recently. The building we were in, built in the 1980s, was completely renovated and modernised in 2012. It was officially opened on 4 April 2013 by Prince Willem-Alexander (who is now our King).
As the original plan was for our company to be fully phased out by 31 December 2024, this office building will be leased to another party from that date. For this reason, we moved on 30 September 2024 to a new location at Van Elmptstraat 16 on Europapark in Groningen.
