CO2 offsetting

We have an ongoing commitment to reduce CO₂ emissions, which we do in various ways.

GasTerra offsets the CO2 emissions caused by the office building, flights and car leasing. We do this by buying carbon credits from the Climate Neutral Group (CNG). The CNG can use these to invest in climate projects in countries where investment in these projects has a spin-off effect on the local economy, employment, income, environment and climate. In 2018, GasTerra offset 439.84 tons of CO2 equivalents and contributed towards an investment in biogas installations for families in Tanzania.
