Mission and vision
GasTerra trades in natural gas. The company has been supplying gas to major Dutch industries and other large-scale users for more than fifty years. The decision to wind down our company’s operations has been taken in connection with the end of gas production in Groningen and the declining significance of other domestic production. This process will come to an end on 31 December 2026.
GasTerra’s mission is to protect the value of its sales and purchasing contracts while the company is winding down. GasTerra will phase out or transfer its activities in a controlled manner during this winding-down period. GasTerra will do so while remaining aware of the interests of its stakeholders and the smooth running of the gas market.
