GasTerra CEO emphasises the importance of market demand during Flame 2018
Investments are not possible without markets, and vice versa.
On the first day of the Flame Conference 2018, held, as usual, in Amsterdam, GasTerra CEO Annie Krist gave a speech (in English). Hundreds of attendees listened while she explained how money spent on gas infrastructure in Europe depends on a gas market to support it and, equally, the gas market depends on proper infrastructure.
The most important message: ‘It is crucial to consider not only the need for sustainable energy solutions and security of supply, but also to develop a long-term vision of the role of gas in the energy mix. I’m talking about continued security of demand.’
