Friday 14 Februari 2014 - Gertjan Lankhorst, CEO GasTerra, and prof. Ad van Wijk, TU Delft professor Future Energy Systems, sign today a partnership agreement between GasTerra and The Green Village. This TU Delft initiative is developing an innovative, lively, interactive & challenging online & offline environment at TU Delft Campus. Where entrepreneurs, scientists, companies and students develop and experience innovative sustainable systems.
GasTerra joins The Green Village as partner to participate in one of the icon projects, the Car as Power Plant (CaPP). Gertjan Lankhorst receives the first copy of Van Wijk’s new book - on how hybrid, hydrogen-fueled cars may become the work-horses of a sustainable energy supply, making all existing fossil and nuclear power plants obsolete. TU Delft and GasTerra will explore and develop this paradigm-shifting idea in The Green Village, with students, scientist and other business partners.
Prof. Ad van Wijk: “Our partnership with GasTerra illustrates how TU Delft has succesfully initiated The Green Village: as community environment for science and business to jointly discover, learn and show how to solve society’s urgent challenges.”
