€ 5000 for sustainable dissertation
On July 3 2015, GasTerra will again be organizing the GasTerra Energizer Award, previously known as the GasTerra Annual Transition Prize. Students who graduate from a university of applied sciences this year, can enter this prestigious competition. Important criteria: the dissertation has to written while at a company or institution and has to have a sustainable character.
How does it work?
All students from a Dutch university of applied sciences can submit their dissertations until June 5, via: www.gtea.nl. A professional jury will assess all the dissertations and make a short list of the ten best papers. These students will compete against each other during the GTEA event on July 3, 2015.
Do you know graduating students who are working for a company or institution? And does their thesis have a sustainable character? Stimulate them to take part in the GasTerra Energizer Award 2015!
GasTerra has invited its business relations to this event. Did you not receive an invitation and would you like to attend this event? Please send an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In 2013, students of Saxion Hogeschool (Saxion University of Applied Sciences) were awarded the First Prize. They developed a magnetic upgrade kit for radiators, which circulates the air around old radiators. The Second Prize went to students of the Hanzehogeschool Groningen (Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen), while students of the Haagse Hogeschool (The Hague University of Applied Sciences) won the Third Prize.
P+ magazine, the magazine for corporate social responsibility, is paying attention to the award in their April/May edition. Marcel Heiler, Team Manager Industry Noord-Nederland at Royal HaskoningDHV, tells more about which issue his students are trying to solve and why they participate in the GTEA.
