The future for natural gas
The demand for energy will only continue to rise in the decades ahead. At the same time, concerns are also mounting about the effects of CO2 emission levels on climate change. For this reason, a lot of effort is being made to develop renewable energy supplies, e.g. wind and solar power. Even so, this will not make natural gas redundant. Natural gas will continue to play an indispensible role in the transition to a more sustainable energy supply. As an energy source, natural gas can be deployed flexibly and responsibly whenever the wind isn't blowing or the sun isn't shining.
